Leighann C. Krasney, D.O., M.P.H.

Fellowship-trained shoulder and elbow specialist Dr. Leighann Krasney specializes in advanced care for shoulder and elbow disorders. She is dedicated to helping athletes and active patients return to their sports and favorite activities as well as restore function in patients with osteoarthritis and acute upper extremity injuries. Dr. Krasney serves patients at Mountain Valley Orthopedics in East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Brodheadsville, and Milford.

After graduating from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, Dr. Krasney earned her Master of Public Health degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She went on to graduate with her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Krasney then completed her orthopedic surgery residency at UPMC Pinnacle in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. After choosing to specialize further in shoulder and elbow care, she completed the exclusive San Francisco Shoulder & Elbow Fellowship at California Pacific Orthopaedics.
